The new interior in the XUV 3XO is a major improvement from the outdated cabin of the previous XUV 300, allowing it to better compete with Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and other rivals. One notable aspect of the interior is the addition of a panoramic sunroof, a unique feature in its category.

XUV 3XO Engine Options: Petrol & Diesel Powertrains

The Mahindra XUV 3XO, unveiled today, is expected to carry over the engine options from its predecessor, the XUV300. This means you can expect a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine in two states of tune, offering either 110 horsepower and 200 Nm torque or 130 horsepower and 230 Nm torque. There will also be a 1.5-liter diesel option with 117 horsepower and a healthy 300 Nm torque. Transmission choices should include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT for most variants, while the more powerful petrol might get a 6-speed manual only. Mahindra has hinted at a new “Zap” drive mode and impressive figures of 4.5 seconds from 0 to 60 kmph and 20.1 kmpl fuel efficiency, but it remains unclear which powertrain achieves these.
