Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 Packs 105 HP Punch – The Road Warrior

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 packs a punch with a powerful engine. It uses the same 799 cc engine as the KTM 790 Duke. This engine has two cylinders placed side-by-side, called a parallel-twin layout. It’s also liquid-cooled to keep things from getting too hot, and DOHC stands for Double Overhead Camshaft, a design that helps the engine breathe efficiently.  This all adds up to a smooth and exciting ride.

Husqvarna Svartpilen 801: Powered by a Potent Engine

Husqvarna launched the Svartpilen 801 motorcycle worldwide. It gets its power from a liquid-cooled, 799 cc engine with two parallel cylinders and a double overhead camshaft (DOHC). This engine is similar to the one used in the KTM 790 Duke, putting out 105 horsepower and 87 Nm of torque. The Svartpilen 801 has a six-speed transmission, and a special shifter that lets you change gears without using the clutch comes standard.

Husqvarna Svartpilen 801: Sharing Features with the KTM 790 Duke

Husqvarna just released their new Svartpilen 801 motorcycle. This comes after they added new smaller-engine bikes, the 250s and 401s, to their lineup. In India, you can already buy the Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 250. But the Svartpilen 801 is their biggest and most powerful street bike yet. Interestingly, this new bike shares some features with the KTM 790 Duke.

Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 Braking Performance: Similar Power for Both Bikes

The KTM 890 Duke shares the same frame as the 790 Duke, but it has a big advantage in the suspension department.  The 890 Duke comes with an adjustable WP suspension, which allows you to fine-tune the handling to your riding style and preferences.  In contrast, the 790 Duke’s suspension is not adjustable.  Both bikes offer strong braking performance with dual disc brakes in the front and a single disc brake in the rear, along with a double-channel ABS system to help prevent wheel lockup during hard braking.

Husqvarna Svartpilen 801: Fuel Capacity Parity, Design Divergence

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 and KTM 790 Duke share the same gas tank size of 14 liters, but Husqvarna still needs to reveal the Svartpilen’s curb weight. The biggest difference is in their looks. The Svartpilen 801 has a clean, stripped-down style with sharp lines and some classic details. It’s a more understated motorcycle. On the other hand, the KTM 790 Duke is a bold streetfighter with a flashy, in-your-face design.

Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 Packed with Features, Safety First, Ride Modes & ABS

It’s got cool stuff like a fancy five-inch screen for all your info, new controls that are easy to use, and safety features like adjustable wheelie control and motor slip regulation. Plus, it offers three ride modes: Rain, Street, and Sport, along with ABS that works even when you’re turning corners.

Assistance Features for the 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 801

The 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 comes with some helpful new features. For better grip on slick roads, it has a new system called switchable cornering traction control. This system can be turned on or off depending on your riding conditions. If you like to relax on long rides, you can also add cruise control as an optional extra. Another cool feature is the turn-by-turn navigation system with alerts, similar to what you’d find on the 790 Duke. This system helps you get where you’re going with ease. In the United States, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 801 starts at $10,899. (Rs 9.05 approximately)
