Citroen to Launch Stylish New Citroen Basalt Vision SUV in India

Citroen, a brand known for its stylish cars, unveiled the Basalt Vision concept recently. This concept car gives us a sneak peek at their upcoming SUV. Arriving in dealerships later this year, the Basalt will fit in between the C3 Aircross and C5 Aircross SUVs in Citroen’s India range. Citroen will make their new five-door SUV coupe at their factory in Tamil Nadu, India. This factory will act as the main production center for right-hand drive versions of the car, which means it will be shipped to many countries around the world. The design of the car will continue Citroen’s unique style, which they use on both their Indian and international cars. The Citroen Basalt Vision concept that this car is based on looks awe-inspiring.

Fresh Face for the C3 Aircross: New Grille, Headlights, and Bumper

The front of the C3 Aircross gets a fresh look with a new grille design, but the overall shape remains similar to the older model. The grille features the classic Citroen logo in the center, with two chrome bars stretching outwards.  The headlights are sleek LED projectors, positioned between the LED daytime running lights. The sporty bumper adds a touch of personality with large air intakes, unique design features, and fog lights. A plastic piece that looks like a metal underbody protector completes the front end.

Citroen Basalt Vision: Rugged Yet Refined Exterior

The car boasts a tough look with its black roof and pillars.  Adding to this ruggedness are black details like the wheel arch covers, trim along the bottom of the doors, and two-tone alloy wheels with cool V and star shapes. Other eye-catching features include extensions that stretch the window line, a sleek shark fin antenna, a built-in spoiler, a roof that slopes down towards the back with a liftgate that opens upwards, stylish LED taillights that wrap around the car, door handles that match the body color, and a two-toned rear bumper with a lot going on.  This car makes a statement!
