Equipped with a six-speed gearbox and a unique clutch designed to prevent rear wheel lock-up on downshifts, it ensures smooth handling in any terrain. The seat is 855 mm tall, which may be a little high for some riders. The bike weighs 230 kilograms, and it gets decent gas mileage with a 20-liter fuel tank. 2024 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE Built for Tough Terrain: Brakes and Suspension

The 2024 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE comes equipped with a single disc brake in the rear, controlled by a one-piston caliper. This rear brake works with a special anti-lock braking system (ABS) that can be turned on or off for the rear wheel. The front brakes are stronger, with upside-down forks that can be adjusted for a smoother ride. In the back, there’s a single shock absorber that can be adjusted to carry more weight.

Both the front and rear suspension have 220 mm of travel. The wheels are made with spokes, which are strong and light. The front wheel is bigger, at 21 inches, to handle rough terrain, while the rear wheel is 17 inches. Dunlop Trailmax Mixtour tyres with inner tubes come standard on the V-Strom 800DE.

Ride with Confidence: Stability, Visibility & Control

The 2024 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is built for adventure with a strong aluminum swingarm for stability and a bright LED headlight to see clearly at night. It offers you more control on any terrain with four riding modes to choose from and three traction control settings. Shifting gears is a breeze with the bi-directional quick-shifter. Plus, keeping up with your ride is easy thanks to the five-inch TFT display that connects to your phone via Bluetooth. Starting the bike is simple with the Suzuki Easy Start system, and the Low RPM Assist helps prevent stalls by keeping the engine RPM up when you take off.

Middleweight Adventure Tourer Pricing in India

The price of the middleweight adventure tourer will depend on how it’s brought into India. If assembled here, expect it to cost around Rs. 11 lakh. This is the price before taxes and dealer markup (ex-showroom price). However, it could also be imported as a complete built-up unit (CBU). In this case, the price would be much higher than similar bikes, because of import taxes and other costs.
